Tag As FavoriteComment		If you've read H. P. Lovecraft, you might recognise ol' Cthulhu here. This is the figurine featured in 'The Call of Cthulhu'. It was created by an unnamed artist who recieved the image in a dream sent by Cthulhu from his underwater city. (I got it from the book.)

First off, please ignore the ignorant ba$tard above me.

Second, I have just begun reading Lovecraft within the last few weeks, and I must say this is an amazingly sharp and accurate picture. I am duly and whole-heartedly impressed. I have begun to think of trying to draw Cthulhu, and your artwork has inspired me to begin to do so.
*sighs* My slightly strange infatuation with Cthulhu and subsequently Lovecraft all began with me begging that fuzzy green illithid-looking plushie from my boyfriend....
